Frequently Asked Questions
What is Suet Tallow ?
Suet tallow is a premium fat carefully rendered from the suet, or hard fat, found around the kidneys of grass-fed cows. Renowned for its purity and natural richness, suet tallow is a valued ingredient in skincare. It contains vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids that help support skin’s natural moisture barrier.
Known for its smooth, lightweight feel, suet tallow absorbs easily into the skin, leaving it soft and moisturized for up to 24 hours on a small application - A little goes a long way.
If you are wanting the most nutrient dense type of tallow with the most neutral scent and quicker absorbing texture then buy Suet over Tallow.
Which is Best for Eczema, ACNE and Other Inflammations?
When buying Tallow (or anything for consumption) it is prudent to look at the nutrient profile and density as well as bio-availability.
Our company started off with regular muscle bone fat but once we switched to Suet we started noticing better reported efficacy on skin issues.
We sourced out grass-fed angus for this reason and put it the test.
Buy PURE if you want the best bang for your buck as it offers the most nutrient dense profile.
Use daily and if you can pair it with Suet Soap for cleansing.

Where and How to Apply ?
Winter Balm, Summer Soft
In cooler temperatures, use applicator to lather a small amount of suet tallow balm in your palms then apply, when warm our balm may be soft or near oil. Apply to any area needing care or a silky, youthful glow—perfect for a full body balm head to toe. A little goes a long way, so gently massage until absorbed, enjoying lasting softness and deep hydration.
In our opinion Suet is best applied at a warm temp by melting into hands and applying.
If you are looking for a softer balm or cream style please see our PURE PLUS+ or Extra Creamy range.
Shelf Life and Storage ?
Our premium suet tallow products have a shelf life of up to 24 months un opnened and 12 months after opening. When using applicator and stored properly. Keep them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. At temperatures above 24°C, the tallow melts into a rich, nourishing oil, while cooler conditions below 21°C cause it to solidify into a firmer form for a quick lather in palms then apply. Refrigeration is not necessary but can extend freshness. Always ensure the lid is securely closed to maintain quality.
Tallow can sometimes momentarily crystalize in rapid temp fluxuations - this does not impact the efficacy of it. Sometimes the PURE requires a little extra warming up for a nicer application.
