Whipped Tallow or Non - what's all the fuss about?
Share
When it comes to tallow skin cream, both whipped and non-whipped versions have their unique qualities, making it a personal choice based on texture preferences.
Whipped tallow skin cream has a light, airy texture that feels soft and fluffy on the skin. This makes it easy to spread and gives a luxurious feeling upon application. It’s often preferred by those who like a lighter cream that absorbs quickly without feeling too rich or heavy.
On the other hand, non-whipped tallow is denser and more concentrated. It takes longer to absorb but offers deep, long-lasting hydration. Some people prefer this version for its more intense moisturization, especially in harsher climates or for very dry skin.
After much testing and market feedback as well as considerations of mailing out tallow - our choice as been a non-whipped completely natural tallow. By doing so we found a longer lasting effect without the need to dilute or add filler for the sake of maintaining a "whipped" look. See article on why we dont add honey to our tallow here.
Ultimately, the choice between whipped and non-whipped comes down to personal preference—whether you enjoy a light, fluffy texture or prefer a denser, more substantial feel. Both offer the same nourishing benefits, so it’s about what feels best for you !
